Being a Bhairav or Bhairavi means being Courageous on the path of spirituality. One cannot be spiritual if one is not brave. Only a Brave person with strong resolve can decide to take to the snow clad mountains of Himalayas in search of true knowledge .
Having a mentality that is servile does not help one to do sadhana and tapasya. For Tapasya means Tapah or to Boil in austerity.And to do any Tapasya one must be determined and brave. They must have what we know as VEER BHAV.
VEER BHAV does not come from a mentality of Dasa or servility.
VEER BHAV does not come from a mentality of JUST BHAKTI BHAV or devotion to GOD.
If one needs Darshan or experience of GOD or their own Kundalini energy ,one can't just have love in their heart or just submit to God and expect things to change. The practioner will experience NOTHING ,THERE WILL BE NO DIVINE EXPERIENCE NOT EVEN A DIVINE DREAM.
VEER BHAV- a person must be resolute , unwavering , Brave, Obstinate,Determined.
Be it to do Yoga asana,follow the niyam of yoga , chant Tantric mantras of Devi or kundalini and be so strong in one's mind that one is determined to master the asana or activate certain parts of the brain to experience these transcendental state.
One must cultivate this VEER BHAV qualities by worshiping Bhairav devtas or Bhairavi Devis or Yoginis. Bhairavs are mini shiva that protect Devis and are in the entrouge of Devi or their Gana.
SHWET BHAIRAV, AKASH BHAIRAV, UNMAT BHAIRAV, KAL BHAIRAV ,MAHAKAL BHAIRAV, VIGYAN BHAIRAV etc are few of the Bhairavs known.
