Aghori

The word aghor sends shivers to most of the community in India. The vilification , fear mongering is justified in many instances and unjustified on others.

I'm not here to be a Hindu apologist ,I will call out the wrong doing in the society that is the by product of Kaliyug. So should you...

Aghor is a tamasic branch of Sanatan/Siddha Dharma. Aghor principle is an extremist principle. If one goes to the extreme end of any matter they will find God , param Bramha or param shiv tattva. If a scientist is researching Atoms, molecules he finds quarks ,boson etc. He keeps delving deeper until the last God particle is found. I highly doubt that Higgs boson is the final God particle. There are more divine particles inside it. But the mindset that makes you go deeper to find the ultimate truth, the extreme mentality is Aghor mentality. As extremity leads to perfection and perfection is siddhi a step towards siddhatva.

To reach the end of matter you must be fearless, a true Bhairav or Bhairavi. As without that quality you can't find anything. An agnostic mind or an open minded approach is the best approach to take, as you dunno what you'll find in the extreme end but an adept must push the boundaries never the less.

According to Kaulantak peeth traditions of himalayan siddhas, Aghori worships the formless part of Shiva known as Maha Aghoreswar and his Shakti Maha Aghoreswari. This tamasic Shaiv panth are the extreme end of Vedic advaithis who believe everything is bramhan. Aghoris do not distinguish between the good and bad, dirty and clean means as all are part of that final shiv tattva.

An Aghori in real, is not easy to recognize as you might think he is a bhasm smeared sadhu who lives near cremation grounds . But truth is far from truth, an aghori can be anyone who follows aghor principles.

In modern times, we have associated aghor with cannibalism, sexual exploitation, vam marg of tantra black magic... but that's not true. Such ppl who do these act in the name of aghor are deplorable and are no where connected to true Aghor panth. Ppl should call out such ppl and practices like this should be stopped.

Even bollywood should stop these stereotypes of Aghoris as this disturbs the aghor kul and sanatan dharma... Hinduism is a global minority religion and we have many branches and gods in our Dharma. Abrahamic horse vision cannot understand the vastness of the eternal dharm of the universe followed not just by hindus but by other species like Devas,asura,preta, gandharva, apsaras,nagas etc.

This Abrahamic superiority privilege has to stop and Hinduism in its entire plurality should be able to live and thrive.
